List authenticated items to Upright with pearldive

You can now list a finished certificate to Upright from Legitmark — scan the SKU at submit, add pearldive, and the manifested product updates itself.

You can now list a finished certificate to Upright from Legitmark.

Until now, getting an authenticated item onto Upright meant photographing it twice, then restaging the certificate — screenshot it, print it, photograph the printout, and upload those shots as listing photos.

With List to Upright, you start the listing at the authentication station. Photograph the item once in the Legitmark app, scan the barcode at submit, and send when authentication is done. The item may already be manifested, or not — you can link it. If the pearldive tag is on the listing and you have a pearldive account, diving starts from those same photos. Post-confirmation happens in Upright after the dive.

On the floor

A typical station: the item is in hand, Upright is the listing system, and authentication happens in the Legitmark app. You do not leave the station to reprint a certificate.

The old path split photography and proof across two systems. The suggested path is one pass at the station — then Upright after the dive.

Where it starts

Open the Legitmark app at the station and start the listing with the authentication. Apply the Upright SKU at submit by scanning the barcode. If the product is already on a manifest, that scan links the certificate to it. If it is not, you can still submit and link the manifest when you have one.

Those authentication photos are the listing photos. You will not recapture them in Upright.

How it works

When authentication is done, open the certificate and list directly. The description already includes the certificate link. The Authentic tag is applied. Confirm the SKU, then Send to Upright.

Legitmark finds the manifested product when one is linked, and writes the details onto it — title, description, tags, certificate, photos.

Type pearldive into tags if you want the listing filled. If that tag is on the listing and you have a pearldive account, diving starts automatically after send. You do not sign in during this flow. When the dive is done, finish any post-confirmation steps in Upright.

When you’d use it

  • Station intake: The bag is in hand. You authenticate and start the Upright listing in one pass, instead of a second photo set at a desk.
  • Manifest later: The item is not on a manifest yet. You still scan and submit, then link when the manifest exists.
  • Certificate as listing proof: You need the certificate link and Authentic tag on the product — without printing the report or photographing the paper.

What stays the same

You still photograph the item for authentication. Diving still requires a pearldive account — contact pearldive to get one. Without that account, send still updates the Upright product; it just will not start a dive. Post-confirmation after a dive still happens in Upright.
