About the role

We're hiring a Social Commerce Brand Strategist to grow Legitmark's presence across live and social commerce platforms. This is a contract role with the potential to grow into a full-time position. Your primary focus is driving adoption and brand visibility through our existing seller base. You'll work with current customers to integrate Legitmark into their selling workflows and amplify our brand across their channels. You'll also engage new sellers and accounts to expand our reach. This is a hands-on, strategic role. You need to understand how sellers operate in live commerce, what motivates them, and how to turn that into scalable brand presence.

In this role, you'll:

  • Drive Legitmark brand adoption and visibility through existing customers across live and social commerce
  • Develop strategies that turn sellers into Legitmark advocates
  • Create and distribute brand assets, resources, and collateral for seller use
  • Engage new sellers and accounts to expand Legitmark's footprint
  • Build micro marketing strategies tailored to how sellers actually sell
  • Track adoption metrics and iterate on what drives results
  • Collaborate with the partnerships team on broader go-to-market efforts

We're looking for someone with:

  • Fluency with live and social commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Whatnot, eBay Live, or similar)
  • Experience activating brand presence through existing customer or community channels
  • Ability to build and execute marketing strategies with limited resources
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with sellers
  • Understanding of resale, secondhand, or luxury goods
  • Self-starter mentality — you'll define the playbook, not follow one
  • Mandarin Chinese fluency is a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with live selling or creator marketing
  • Background in seller success, account management, or community building
  • Content creation skills (video, graphics, copy)
  • Familiarity with authentication or brand protection

Contract details

This is a contract engagement starting as a focused project with a clear path to a larger role as results develop. We prefer candidates based on the US West Coast (Los Angeles area) or in Asia (Tokyo, Shanghai) to maintain fluid communications with our team and seller base. We're looking for someone who can start quickly and demonstrate impact within the first 30 days.
