About the role

We're hiring a Head of Partnerships to own Legitmark's partner ecosystem. This is our first dedicated partnerships hire. This role is central to defending and growing our market position. You'll work with a diverse set of partners, including marketplaces, resale platforms, and e-commerce businesses, to build repeatable motions that drive adoption, retention, and expansion. The role blends account management, business development, and operations, requiring someone who can manage complex relationships, navigate competitive pressure, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Customer Experience to deliver customer-first solutions. This position is remote (US-based). Travel is expected ~25%, including quarterly international trips.

In this role, you'll:

  • Own day-to-day relationships with key accounts and channel partners
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and develop account expansion strategies
  • Identify upsell opportunities like new categories, increased volume, and deeper integrations
  • Monitor account health and proactively address retention risks
  • Navigate competitive pressure and defend Legitmark's value proposition
  • Identify and qualify new channel partnership opportunities
  • Build and manage pipeline of prospective partners
  • Lead negotiations and close new partnership agreements
  • Represent Legitmark at industry events and partner meetings
  • Build and maintain CRM infrastructure and account documentation
  • Develop partnership playbooks and enablement materials
  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet partners and grow the business
  • Define and track partner performance metrics across retention, growth, and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Experience to deliver customer-first solutions

We're looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, account management, or business development within e-commerce, marketplaces, or SaaS
  • A track record of growing and strengthening existing accounts, not just landing new ones
  • Experience in resale, secondhand, luxury, or marketplace businesses
  • Strong operational instincts with experience working across systems, processes, and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to operate with clarity and ownership in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort with international business, particularly in Asia
  • Willingness to build things yourself (decks, CRM, playbooks) not just manage them
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese preferred
